From changing schedules, evolving tastes in music, or along with the seasons or holidays, a 4Sight subscription gives you access to When >> Then personalization. This hands-on customization allows you to set an automatic schedule that turns on the outdoor lights when sunset falls, customize a “Cooking” button to play jazz in the kitchen when tapped, and even change the LED colors on any keypad in the house. Adjust and experiment with many features of your automation after you’ve lived with it for a while, fine-tuning it until it’s just right.

This is a great concept but your user experience is so bad is almost unusable. Each time you input an action, the screen at the top gets a little bit larger, and pushes the dialog box down further, after six actions, you are scrunched into the ad at the bottom, and cannot input anything. Really bad UX. Doesn’t anyone look at the stuff?

same thing happens to me. Why cant they fix this. For all that money. Why dont they listen to their customers?

I agree with Leon, the User Interface is awful. Dates are overwritten with today's date and months added onto dates when you go in to edit the schedule. The Lutron integration is hit and miss as well. Needs much more work. Just let us code straight into the back end please to avoid this awful UI please

Please allow us to copy automations for easier editing of preforming opposite commands. For example, I spent a lot of time setting up all my devices for a"turn all lights on" command and had to spend the same amount of time to "turn all lights off".

i faced the same issues Leon talked about, during the last couple of moths i face another issue, after logging in i choose when \then and then i get message to log out and log in again, i went through the customers service but still waiting for fixing this bug. it could be a great interface just if you develop the last 3% of it.

The do it yourself automation needs a lot of work. The screen fillup per Leon means you cannot add or complete an automation. You have to keep building scenes with a few items then kick that off with other actions to add more items. Having item done by the installer all be locked is stupid. The system should at least let you turn an installer item off. Getting to tv stations is impossible if the installer doesn't set everything up.

FYI - Control4 really need to provide a more in depth training video for the When/Then automation. Please also work on creating a better integration with Alexa (e.g. make it possible to change volume or radio stations via Alexa app). When we purchased the C4 system we were told these simple functions were possible using Alexa devices (e.g. echo dot) but that is not the case. Cheers.
